Soil

The Muscat de Rivesaltes vineyards are located all over the Roussillon plain, between the Mediterranean sea and the Canigou mountain. The vines grow on marl and pebble soils and enjoy the warm and sunny Mediterranean weather.

Muscat petits grains 70% Muscat d’Alexandrie 30%

Production method

After destemming there is a cold skin maceration then, after pressing, a cold fermentation to bring out the gentle flavours of the grape variety. The fortification is achieved with pure and neutral alcohol.

Description

Colour: Clear and bright golden yellow with green tints
Nose: Straight and gentle flavours such as citrus and exotic fruits (kiwi and papaya)
Mouth: A creamy attack on the palate with a fruity and yamy balanced

Ageing

The wine is kept on lees and bottled early in the year.

Serving temperature

Serve at between 8°C and 10°C
