Cuvée Vauban Rouge

AOP Collioure

Garnet colour with brick red tints. Elegant bouquet with notes of cherry stone, red berry jam and spices. The initial effect on the palate is warming and the tannins are smooth. The nish is long, spicy and fruity.

Soil

The vineyard grows on brown schist soil near the sea.

Grape varieties

70% Syrah, 20% Carignan, 10% Mourvèdre

Production method

After destemming and crushing, the grapes are macerated for at least 10 days. The Carignan is vinified with carbonic maceration.

Ageing

In vats.
