Soil
Grapes for this wine are grown in vineyards on the Roussillon plain which stretches over rolling hills and broad clay-limestone terraces covered with schist pebbles.
Grape varieties
80% Grenache blanc, 20% Macabeu.
Production method
Perfectly ripe grapes are picked in the very early hours of the morning when temperatures are low to preserve aroma. After being destemmed and crushed, the grapes are delicately pressed. The juice is selected and fermented separately depending on quality. Fermentation occurs at low temperatures (14 to 18°C) to ensure optimum varietal expression.
Ageing
In full tanks for a few months. The wine is bottled early to fully preserve aromatic freshness..
Description
Bright, light yellow with silver highlights. The bouquet shows impeccable elegance and is scented with tropical fruits and lemon. An expressive palate offers up savoury freshness driven by notes of anise, citrus fruits and yellow peaches.
Storing
Should be drunk young for full aromatic enjoyment. Drink within two years.
