The grapes are picked by hand. The fruit is then destemmed and crushed. The grape varieties are fermented separately following classic winemaking methods at controlled temperatures with gentle, regular pumping over.
In tanks. Bottled one year after the harvest.
Beautiful deep garnet with purple highlights. A powerful, intense nose exudes notes of ripe fruits, prune, spice and garrigue. A round, generous palate is nicely balanced by freshness.
This Faugères will keep for 4 to 5 years.
Ideal with grilled T-bone steak, braised duck with mushrooms, beef cheek, coq au vin or blue-veined cheeses.
Serve between 15 and 16°C.
